The dedicated and experienced team at Outside In were called upon in this instance to rejuvenate the existing backyard concrete swimming pool and surrounding area. The swimming pool and water feature had become outdated, so trade experts of Outside In replastered the swimming pool, replaced the pool’s waterline tiles, re-tiled the entire spa and water feature, as well as adding LED lighting to the water feature for a truly spectacular touch at night time!
The team designed a practical alfresco area for the clients which incorporates a stunning custom made stainless steel outdoor kitchen, and new Merbau timber decking which extends right up to the edge of the pool; adding more space for seating, and making the area appear more spacious.
Washed aggregate poured concrete in Black Sheok with matching bullnose capping was used around the pool, perfectly complementing the striking blue of the pool finish and the dark timber decking of the adjacent alfresco. Outside In have embraced the use of natural materials, and have achieved a stunning look incorporating timber, water and stone.
Planter boxes were also built outside of the alfresco, softening the area with some simple green foliage.
Three custom made lightboxes available exclusively through Outside In were positioned along the property’s side boundary wall, creating an eye catching feature when looking out from under the alfresco, and also from inside the house.
Outside In also designed a ‘new’ front yard for this home, ensuring that it was easy to maintain as requested by the clients. The design features artificial turf, and washed aggregate poured concrete in the same Black Sheok to tie in with the backyard.
